In order to use our chat applet, you will need the Java Runtime Environment on your PC. If it is not already installed, you can download it from www.java.com.
Alternately, you can use your own client to connect to the Smoothbeats chat. We use IRC for our chat server, so you can connect using your favorite IRC client. Our server address is irc.smoothbeats.com, and the channel name is #smoothbeats. Popular clients include mIRC, trillian (Windows), BitchX, Irssi (Unix), Ircle, Snak (Mac), or grab the latest version of Mozilla for any platform, which includes "ChatZilla".
